Changes...

I have been offered a 7th grade English position at our Junior High school and I accepted. I'm really looking forward to moving over and even though the new 7th graders, will be my old 6th graders, I am still excited. I know these kids. They don't scare me!

So, now my subtitle will read "7th grade isn't for sissies."

Congratulations! More than any other level, good teachers are desperately needed in middle school. It takes a special type of person to love and enjoy that age, and that's YOU! Have fun!

Yay! Good for you! It seems like you really bonded with your class this year and now you'll get to have them all over. :)

Wonderful! I am excited for you. :)
As for me...I would DIE if I had to teach 7th grade. Ok, maybe not die, but wow! 6th grade is good enough for me. I want to say thanks for all your kind comments over the last few weeks, they have really been a comfort. You are amazing my friend! Have a great day.

Hi Joan!! Next time my buds and I got to Guthrie, I'll contact you and you can have lunch with us at the Railroad Restaurant near the tracks. My friends are all retired teachers, so you would have a lot to talk about with us! Hope you are enjoying your summer off!
